Frequently asked questions
How friend requests work
Send friend requests from Explore. When they accept, you can chat in the Chat tab. Matching is for friendship only.
Verification
After you submit selfie verification, you can browse while we review. Friend requests and some RSVPs unlock once you’re approved.
Vol events
Vols are LIVIN.ROOM community gatherings. RSVP Going on the event page. Venue details and your check-in QR appear after you’re Going (and after approval when required).
Rooms
Rooms are small hangs hosted by members (capacity 4–8). New Rooms go to the team for approval before they appear for everyone. You don’t pick the guest list — verified members can join until seats fill.
Safety and reporting
Use a member’s profile menu to block or report. We’re a platonic friendship community — harassment and fake profiles aren’t welcome.
Account and privacy
Delete your account in the app under Settings → My Account. For how we handle data (including contacts used only to pick one invitee), see our Privacy Policy.
