Frequently asked questions

No. LIVIN.ROOM is friendship only — platonic. I’d hang is a friend request, not a romantic like. If you’re here to date, this isn’t your app.
No — that’s the whole point. Every Room saves seats for people who don’t know anyone there yet. You show up as you are.
A Hang is one on one — just you and one other person. A Room is a small group, about 4–8 people, hosted by a member and built around an activity. Room Zero is our own gatherings, run by us or with a partner. Show up, and hang again.
Yes. We verify members with a selfie (never shown publicly) so the room is full of real people. We take reports seriously.
We’re live in the Phoenix metro, Arizona. Anyone 21+ nearby looking for real friends is welcome.
Download LIVIN.ROOM free from the App Store, create your profile, and Explore who’s nearby. Tap the button above — it takes a couple of minutes.
Adults 21+ who want real friends nearby and plans that leave the phone. Friendship only — not dating, not networking theater.
No. We don’t run an algorithm that assigns you five strangers and books a table. You meet people at a gathering or in Explore, you decide who you’d hang with, and you make the plan together. The group is yours.
Yes. Most people assume this is for people who just moved. It isn’t. Friend groups thin out — people have kids, move away, get busy — and starting over as an adult is hard no matter how long you’ve been here.
Livin.Room — Livin with no g, and a dot in the middle. You will also see it written Livin Room or LivinRoom, and search engines often correct “livin room” to “living room”, which brings up something else entirely. If that happens, search Livin.Room app Phoenix, or open the App Store and look for Livin.Room: Make Local Friends.
